Dubai Islands is one of the seven artificial islands of Dubai, along with Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Islands, Jumeirah Bay Island, The World Islands, and Palm Jebel Ali.

Connectivity
The Dubai Islands are expected to have an innovative infrastructure, like the rest of the man-made islands of Dubai. That being so, you can get to Dubai Islands in different ways:
Take the Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) bus with SMD code 01. This route will go straight to the island.
If you are taking the Dubai Metro, the nearest stations to Dubai Islands are Palm Deira Metro Station, Al Ras Metro Station, Al Ghubaiba Metro Station, Baniyas Square Metro Station, and Union Metro Station.
You can either drive yourself or get a taxi. A bridge will connect Dubai Islands to the mainland & through Abu Baker Al Siddique Road.
If you are the more adventurous type, you can take the Abra boats. There are ferry trips from Dubai Old Souk, Deira Old Souk, and Al Ghubaiba to Souk Al Marfa and vice versa.
What to Expect in Dubai Islands
Dubai Islands is a mix-use development. It will include over 80 upscale hotels and resorts, beaches, panoramic landscapes, golf courses overlooking the Arabian Gulf, and a selection of residential units. Visitors and residents will also enjoy a connected network of marina promenades and pathways for water and road transportation, walking, and cycling. Dubai Islands comprise five islands: Central Island, Marinas Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, and Elite Island.
Elite Island
Elite Island, the smallest island, will accommodate luxury waterfront villas.
Marina Island
Marina Island is definitely for water lovers. Over 600 boats & yachts long can dock on this island.
Shore Island
Shore Island, on the other hand, is for sports and resorts.
Central Island
Central Island is the largest among the five islands and highlights Deira Mall and The Night Market or Souk Al Marfa, which include 5,300 shops and 100 dockside cafes and restaurants, 37 hotels, and resorts.
Golf Island
Golf Island, as the name suggests, is dedicated to the 18-hole golf course, resorts, villas, and wellness centers.
